I purchased a 2016 Road Glide Special back in May, my third Harley Davidson. For something that costs as much as these things do, the quality leaves a lot to be desired. Part of the big sales pitch for the new 2016 Mt Rushmore bikes is how awesome the technology is. Let me tell you from experience, its not all that. At speed, you can't even hear the radio. When you set up the speed volume (automatically adjust for road noise) the volume actually goes down. Want to hear the stereo, you need to spend $1500 plus install for the Boom Audio 2 system. I walked into High Octane Harley-Davidson in Billerica, MA on 4/29/2016 and purchased a 2016 FLTRX Road Glide in the Amber Whiskey color. I was told by the sales person that I was getting a discount on the MSRP price and the Amber Whisky color upgrade for "free", The unit cost to me was $23,999, Freight $495, Setup $962.
