When you pay $30K for a motorcycle you expect a quality bike. Apparently Harley Davidson does not care and fails to stand behind their product.

I purchased a Tri Glide. At under 5,000 miles the reverse motor failed. (Apparently not an uncommand problem) I called Harley and was given a number about my complaint and was told to have my local dealer call them when I brought in to service. Thinking WOW they are actually going to do something about a known problem.

The bike was evaluated by the dealer and it was exactly what I told them. Reverse motor failed. They called it in to technical support only to be told they were not going to make it right.

And then I was charged for the evaluation ($220). I'm going to make sure every way I can to let other bikers how HD fails their customers.

You didn't mention how old it is or if you're the original owner.

Shame on them for the $220 fee.

Please don't ride that noisy thing down my street ; we have enough.
