My advice to all and and everyone don't ever buy a Harley-Davidson you will hate it. A clutch went out on my motorcycle and it's going to be over a year before I can get the part Harley-Davidson used to be the best.
Now it's a piece of crap I suggest. Go Honda Kawasaki or any of the other motorcycle companies besides Harley-Davidson you will lose out.
You would waste your money on a Harley Davidson if you buy one, especially if you buy a used one. That's 5 years old

I got it in Fall 2018. Five years later, with less than 6000 miles, the oil pump failed, damaging the cylinders and pistons.
I'm told that you don't want to cover the damages. The dealer said there have been three oil pump upgrades since then, so now it's going to cost me around $5500 to fix the issue. One would think they would like to fix things for a customer who has spent over thirty thousand dollars on a Triglide, which is only about 5.5 years old and has under 6000 miles.
I changed the oil early every time I needed an oil change. The dealer requested for them to fix it due to the oil pump failure.

I took the motorcycle class and had a very horrible experience with one of the coaches. I feel like I was racially profiled.
I was unsuccessful at passing the test upon first attempt due to the pressure of the coaching. I was able to retake the course but still felt unpleasant because that coach was still around. During the time I was in the class, I was interested in buying a bike. I thought this would be an easy process but it definitely wasnt.
Dustin was my salesperson and I told him what kind of bike I wanted. He tells me he just received one, he took me out back showed me the bike. I was worried about the rust and a few things but he assured me they would make it sale-read just like new. So I felt confident in my purchase, trusting him.
The purchase process took hours, after all was done Dustin pushed my bike to the front, never started it, so that was the first red flag for me. After the transaction was completed, he informed me that they had to keep it so they can do an inspection on it. I was okay with that, coming from the car industry, I understand. I had to keep asking Dustin for updates; not once did he reach out.
Later I found out they had to order mirrors because it would not pass inspection. I was so confused because I found out from the parts department that my bike was discontinued later on at the parts department when I did my tour. I was in disbelief because I would think this would be something he would have told me instead of just wanting to make a sale. I thought the customers were in good hands, especially those that were in the class trying to make their very first purchase.
It took them almost two weeks to get me the bike. They dropped it off on a Tuesday. I took it around my apartment complex and immediately realized there was something wrong with the clutch. It was as though it was dragging and not switching gears like the ones that were in the class.
Practicing the friction going back and forth like I was told, and even still, I could hear the whining sound of the clutch. Once I realized what was going on, I reached out to Dustin instantly and told him I felt like the bike was unsafe due to the issues around the brakes and brake line, and also the clutch being dragged and not working properly. I asked him how long do I have to return the bike, he never answered that question, but he asked me what was going on with it. So I explained again.
He told me he would reach out to his service manager and get back to me, but he never called back.
So I ended up reaching out to him to let him know my concerns again while also letting him know that the RPMs werent working correctly on the bike as well. So he tells me it might just be a fuse. Just bring it in and *** get the parts people to look at it. So that very day I went in, brought in the bike, Dustin just kind of brushed me off as though he didnt want to deal with it and said got to the parts area and that they would take care of my issue.
He checks me in and explains they had to keep the bike to be able to diagnose it, so they had to keep the bike again. Today I received a call and I was told that I burned the clutch disc and that I would have to pay $800 to get it repaired. So I explained to the service personnel that I had no clue about a clutch being dismounted or destroyed. I did talk to Dustin about the bike having problems, so he said he will call me bacto-after speaking to Dustin.
He calls me back and explained that Dustin and the sales manager said that the bike was working properly when it left the facility, so I would have to pay for the bike's fixing. This is very frustrating because I had nothing to do with the clutch being dismounted or disk being broken.
Im just trying to see what are my options because I hadnt even had the bike for a good three weeks and now theyre telling me I have to pay $800 for a bike that was unsafe to ride to begin with. If you could please reach out to me and let me know what are my options because this is all very frustrating and i cant believe this is happening like this.

My 2007 Fatboy left me alongside the road on I-95 in Viera, FL. I tried to contact HOG road side assistance, without success!
When you contact HOG road side assistance, the person that answers the phone is not in the USA!!! The connection is poor to say the least. After two hours of her trying to get a towing company to come out and get me, her suggestion was for me to get a local towing company and I did. I didn't know at the time that I was talking with someone from a different country and I could not understand what she was saying due to the very poor phone connection.
By the way, they do not keep records of their calls with you. When I was off the road and safe, I contacted HOG road side assistance and they told me the information I needed to send, including where to send it, and I did everything that I was asked to do without success. The state HOG road side assistance customer service representative could not find my phone call when I was stranded on I-95 in very unsafe conditions. The only call they had was the one where I requested the information that had to be supplied to receive my reimbursement dollars that I paid out of my pocket.
The people in the states were unable to find the original phone call to the overseas representative and it was denied!!! My wife and I are lifetime members and do not have to renew our HOG membership but I will not be a supporter, encouraging other riders to join!!
If you are reading this, it will be combined with all the other bad reviews and nothing gets done. Please do not renew your HOG membership in protest as that will send a strong message to the CEO of Harley who never responded to my emails and phone calls.

Had a typical corporation response from HD Europe/ UK head office stating all dealerships are a franchise and their staff have hours of training blar blar blar .I have written 2 further emails back but haven't had any further response back ,Disgusted once these places take your money there is NO COME BACK
Went back to the dealership trike was on the ramp and I was shown the oil pan which had a crack from the bung .
Mechanic said he cant renew oil because of the crack this happened at the dealership and not by me , cant prove but I know it .
I was advised that a new pan would be required but what would I like to do have new pan fitted or take it elsewhere .
I was 40 miles from home so had to leave it there part was ordered.
Didn't receive any update or phone call almost 3 weeks later ( Saturday 20th April ) I went to collect my trike .
After getting a call Friday 19th April
Totally disgusted with Sycamore my trike was brought in spotless they offered it back to me with grease marks over the Chrome and grease marks over the paint work .
They did remedy that issue but it shouldn't have been an issue in the first place .
Paying a £946 bill
Oh and to cap it all off the reverse doesn't work when it did before I let them carry out work on my trike .
I requested that the cracked oil pan be given back to me , been promised i will be sent by Courier also the 10,000 mile service tick sheet .
Now I have Triglide Trike that doesn't go into reverse
NO WAY WOULD I recommend taking anything to this dealership.
Steer clear
I have received the cracked oil pan seeing this close up there is No way That the oil pan had this crack before entering that dealership .
Yet they denied they caused it
Preferred solution: my money back for for the part and labour they charged me for after they caused damaging

As the fifth-generation owner, with several bikes, it seems clear that you have not manufactured anything American-made for years. Most of us have tried to overlook this fact.
However, now that you are regretfully awake and your stock is going down daily, it's too late for you to emerge from your state of wokeness. We are a small club with only 92 members.
We are finished. We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors, but you will never see a penny from any of us again.

Be proud of your American company and of your roots let your consumers know you mean business!, Make sure production is American strong, All the other people on the board better get it together or there will be no Harley Davidson proof is you have dealers sitting on 23 models sales are lacking!
Why would any company cater to the minorities and believe me they are the minority! With that said there is nothing wrong with employing any person and treat them with the same respect you treat all employees we don't need any special rules or treatment of individuals!

I am very concerned about the Harley CEO direction and do not believe he is a good fot for the companies existing and future customer base. I have been riding Harleys for decades and as of now will not purchase another bike util he is gone. I have spoked to many other riders on this subject and ALL fell as I do on this subject, the CEO is wrong for the companies image and future.

Dear Harley Davidson representative,
I am writing to express my very negative purchasing experience at the Harley Davidson branch in Israel. Two months ago, after many years of waiting, I finally realized my dream of buying a HD at 59 years of age. I purchased the HD 48 model, second hand, with 4,350 mi.
During the sales process, I was promised several things, including a helmet, a backpack, a thorough polishing of the motorcycle - to make it ready, shiny, and like new - and several other promises. I paid for the motorcycle a month ago, and I'm still waiting for them to deliver it as promised, but nothing has happened.
When I contact the agency, they pass me from one person to another, writing down all the promises made by the salesperson (who was later fired). I double-check all their statements.
Additionally, I received a loan of 12K USD from the agency, to be repaid in 48 easy, interest-free installments of 250.63 USD per month. This means that the loan does not have fixed installments and I will be paying 1230.24 USD more than what was agreed upon in the initial loan of 12K.
I've been paying for all the insurance required by law in Israel for more than three weeks (which is not cheap). They've repeatedly told me the motorcycle is ready which it is not. This means I'm going to lose a month of insurance without having the motorcycle.
Throughout this entire period, I've tried to maintain respect and understanding, but the poor professionalism of the agency's sales representative in Israel is becoming unbearable.
I hope to receive a swift response and suitable compensation for all the inconvenience this has caused, along with my lost time and money.
